Cafitesse Excellence Compact

Press and hold the red stop button and the lower right (enter) button for about 2 to 3 seconds to enter cleaning mode.

• Supplies:
  Damp, clean cloth
  Washing up brush
  Collection tray provided

The display will show "rinse". Press the bottom right button again.

The display now reads "insert collection tray". You need to place the collectin tray provided under the spout. If you do not have one on hand, you can use any container of at least 1 litre. Once the tray is in place, you can press "enter. The machine will starts rinsing. This takes no more than 5 minutes.

Beware! The fluids released during rinsing are hot. So don't touch them.

Pull the drip tray towards you. Take care to make sure that the water doesn't spill.

Remove the grid from the drip tray and empty the drip tray into the sink. Clean the drip tray under running water with a washing up brush and then dry them it with a clean cloth.

Slide the drip tray back into your coffee machine. Make sure you push it down properly. The display indicates whether the drip tray is securely attached.

Slide the grid back onto the drip tray.

Using a clean damp cloth, wipe the outside of your coffee machine.
